I was found as a stray a few years ago by a lovely lady, who gave me a place to stay while I had my puppies, nursed me back to health, and worked hard to build back my trust, because it was obvious I hadn't had a good life before that. Unfortunately though this home could no longer give me what I needed, so I'm now looking for a new forever home. It takes me a little while to get used to people because of my past experiences, but once I get to know you, I'm very loyal. I'm completely housetrained, and I know some of my commands, but I need to be spayed.

My name is Dozer, and I'm a very excitable yet well-behaved boy. My owner had to give me up because of my medical issues, and he couldn't afford to help me with them. The first problem is that my eyelashes curl into my eye, called entropion, and it causes a lot of pain, and my eyes are very goopy and sore right now because of it. The second issue is a rather embarrassing one, but I'll just tell you that when I get neutered, it's a much more involved surgery than it should be. As I said, I'm obedient, and my previous owner worked very hard to make me a nice family dog, however I'm extremely strong! If you have good intentions with wanting to adopt me, you have experience with my breed, AND are willing to deal with my medical issues, come by and see me!
