PETS IN THE PARK 2010
We postponed this event in July due to rain,so now WE ARE asking you to put on your walking shoes, gather your friends and family, human and pets alike and join the Animal Rescue League’s 19th Annual Pets in the Park on Sunday September 12, 2010, from noon until 4:00 pm (registration begins at 11:00 am) at Fisher Lakes in Rockwood Park. All funds raised from this, our biggest fund raiser of the year will be used toward the operation of our shelter, veterinary care, special needs of our animals and enhancement of ongoing programs.
WHAT IS PETS IN THE PARK
Pets in the Park is a day for families and their pets and it’s one of our fastest growing summer events for the Animal Rescue League. It draws hundreds of animal lovers to an enjoyable day filled with entertainment, demonstrations, Dog walk/Jog, trade booths and of course great food. It’s a day where families can mingle with other pet lovers and pets can meet other pets.
We are proud to announce Wyndham as the major sponsor for the event providing prizes for our TOP 3 Fundraisers.

Everyone who wants to have a great time, loves hanging out with animals and wants to make a difference in the lives the stray and unwanted animals who call the shelter home each and every day. You may participate with or without a pet

| Animal Rescue League - David Greenslade Memorial Golf Tournament |
| Join us on September 25th at the Rockwood Park Golf Tournament, as the ARL honours Pte. David Greenslade. David's passions were serving his country, playing golf and his dog Colby. | Fundraiser in Memory of Laura Christine Woolley |
| Join us for on Sunday October 3rd at Pizza Delight Lansdowne Place, for an All YOU CAN EAT Spaghetti Dinner. This Animal Rescue League fundraiser is the initiative of the family of the late "Laura Christine Woolley", so please come out and show your support for this great cause. Tickets are $12.00 each and includes garlic bread, pop tea and or coffee. There will also be a silent auction, 50/50 draw and other surprises. Tickets will be sold in and around the Saint John area malls over the next couple of months. | Spring for Dinner - |
| On July 24th the winner of the Spring for Dinner draw and 7 of his closest friends were treated to a wonderful evening at chez MacDonald. The evening started with everyone being picked up in a limo, delivered to our chef's place of residence and an 8 course meal was enjoyed by everyone in attendance. Good food, great drinks and friends. A good time was had by all. Many many thanks go to Lynn Bell whose initiative this fundraiser was and who went above and beyond to make sure it was handled with class and was an amazing host.Thank you to Clifford MacDonald who hosted this amazing evening at his home, who did all the cooking and preparation. Many thanks to all of our sponsors and those who gave donations, our new shelter fund thanks you!! |

Altered Male and Female cats – Pay only $5.00 for the microchip – we’ll waive the adoption fee
Unaltered cats – Pay only $5.00 for the microchip we’ll waive the adoption fee, but please remember… you still have to pay the spay fee of 86.25 or neuter fee of $51.75
If you live in Saint John the license fee is $11.30
If you live in Rothesay the license fee is $5.65
We are once again doing same day adoptions, if approved; you’ll be able to take your new family member home the same day!!! For your convenience please bring a carrier with you or borrow one from friends or family

"Spring for Dinner" is an event in support of our "New Shelter Fund".
Tired of cooking?? would you like to be pampered and have someone cook a meal in your kitchen? Imagine no dishes... no serving... no cooking.
Tickets are $20.00 and you could win a Five Course Gourmet Meal to be prepared at your home by your personal chef. Enjoy this meal with 6 of your closest friends.
