| The Saint John Animal Rescue League provides shelter, foster and emergency medical care to thousands of stray and unwanted animals yearly. The “League” places many of these rescued animals with caring, responsible individuals and families through their adoption program.
We receive no government funding and operate on a budget largely received from services provided by the shelter, donations, fundraisers and membership fees.
So becoming a MEMBER is one very important way that YOU can help us continue to meet the needs of our community’s animals.
We ask that you consider helping the SAINT JOHN ANIMAL RESCUE LEAGUE by applying to become a MEMBER. Membership enables you to not only assist financially through the annual $25.00 membership fee but also gives you voting privileges at the Annual General Meeting as well as any other general meetings that may be called, thereby allowing you to participate in decisions that affect shelter operations.
Members receive our Newsletter 3-4 times per year.
Beginning in 2007, those who join or renew their membership with the SAINT JOHN ANIMAL RESCUE LEAGUE will also receive our newly designed SJARL pin.
